Insert the cleaner tube into the tank and start the syphon action. The suction created by the syphon lifts dirt and debris out of the gravel but allows the gravel to fall back into the tank. Only the dirty, debris-filled water leaves the tank. The fish aren't distrubed. The tank is not disturbed.
Results in cleaner water, healthier tank inhabitants. Easier maintenance.
All nozzles have 72" hose length.
Choose length of cleaning tube by how deep your tank is. Use the smaller 1" syphon tubes for smaller water changes. 2" tubes clean larger diameter area and empty tanks more rapidly.
Refuse goes right down the drain. (measure the distance from your tank to the nearest water outlet to decide which python you will need)

Pond owner's number one problem has been algae of various types. Previously all algaecides were non-selective and killed or damaged most plants in the pond along with the algae. Pellets provides a slow, steady release of beneficial ingredients. Rich in selected natural peats to soften pond water and activated humic acids to produce hydrogen peroxide naturally and at a low level of release. Produced without wheat, corn or other binders.
Extract goes to work on contact. Also contains added liquid peat to buffer pH. The decomposition process starts immediately, nad there is no residual on the bottom of the pond.
Both use only natural activity.
In clear water, 8 oz. extract treats 6000 gallons. Then 1 to 2 oz. each week for maintenance. In turbid water, increase dosage by 50%.
Excessive decaying organic matter (dead algae) can cause fish distress. If excessive algae is present, clean excess algae off sides before adding Algaway to reduce the amount of decay that will transpire after treatment. This is particularly important in temperatures over 75° when decay becomes even more rapid.
High temperatures cause more rapid natural decay of dead algae which can cause fish distress if present in large quantities. Ponds must be well aerated.
When using Algaway 5.4 with Microbe-Lift, Algaway 5.4 should be added first when visible algae is present. Put it into the pond in Spring to help inhibit the growth of algae before it starts. Treat periodically to maintain good balance. If you already have a bad algae problem, it may take a little time to see results.
