During operation, the fountains float at the surface of the water using a float and mooring to anchor it in place. The motor unit attaches to the float using stainless steel hardware for a secure assembly.

The float is made of U.V.-resistant, high density thermoplastic, which gives excellent durability with an attractive shape and low visibility. The rigid polypropylene fountain housing helps protect the unit from debris and reduce the likelihood of clogging. They pull water from 360° as well as below the fountain, aerating large volumes of water. (There is also a top intake for shallow water operation.)

Model PLFL1400050, has a ring of LED lights that provide exceptional night lighting and 100,000 hours of expected life. Thanks to the LED technology, they consume very little power, keeping your operating costs low. The LED Light Ring includes 50' of underwater rated power cord and a built in Low Voltage Transformer to convert your 120V power into the 12V power used by the LED light ring.
